Leak suggests you might get fewer color choices for the Galaxy S26 Ultra

We recently had a glimpse of the potential color options Samsung might offer for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. However, that leak seems to have missed some colors. Now, a new leak has revealed the full lineup and its official names.

The previous leak, which showed the SIM card tray of Samsung’s upcoming flagship, indicated four options: black, white, blue, and purple. But reliable leaker Evan Blass now claims the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be available in six colors: black, white, silver, sky blue, cobalt purple, and rose gold.

As mentioned in the previous leak, cobalt purple is likely to be the standout color and may feature prominently in Samsung’s marketing materials for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Interestingly, Blass didn’t mention the previously leaked orange color, suggesting Samsung may have reconsidered and dropped it to avoid accusations of copying.

Fewer Color Options Than Last Year’s Flagship

The color options offered for last year’s Galaxy S25 Ultra support this theory. Samsung released the device in seven colors, four standard and three exclusive to Samsung.com. If recent leaks are accurate, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will only be available in six colors, suggesting that one of the previously planned color options may have been scrapped.

It remains to be seen whether this is true. Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 series at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, rumored to be held in late February. While the company hasn’t officially announced the event yet, confirmation is likely in the weeks leading up to it.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, the Galaxy S26 series appears to be a relatively minor upgrade over last year’s models. However, initial reports suggest that the devices may be more expensive than their predecessors due to higher component costs, with fewer additional features included at launch.
